When harvest season is in full swing and farmers are hitting the fields full-time, there is always hope that things will run smoothly, and the crops will be brought in without any challenges. However, that isn’t always the case and when things do go south, sometimes it isn’t a Service Technician that is called, but an Ag Optimization Specialist.

RME Ag Optimization and Technology Specialist Greg Law plays an important role to RME and his customers; passing along his vast knowledge of the newest technologies and most up to date programs that help the equipment run smoother and more efficiently with every update.

Greg always knew he wanted to work within the agricultural industry, having grown up around farming equipment, and when the opportunity presented itself, he found himself at RME.

“I grew up on a farm and I’ve been running New Holland equipment basically my whole life. I’ve always had a passion for farming equipment,” said Greg.

With his passion for the industry, Greg wanted to enhance his knowledge of the equipment that helps put food on our tables and knew being an Ag Optimization and Technology Specialist was the way to go.

“My favorite part of the job is the customer interaction and harvest season. Harvest is when all their hard work and effort pays off and it’s a great time of year. Combines are running, the customers are happy, you can’t beat it.”

While Greg enjoys working with customers out on the farm on a regular basis, he says it’s the people at RME that truly make the job enjoyable.

“It takes everyone – Sales, Parts and Service, and AOS – to build a good relationship with customers and work as a team. As a group, we have so much support in this company and to have it behind you, it means a lot. I enjoy working with the people at RME,” he said.

Another favourite part of his day is spending the one-on-one time with his customers and ensuring they are comfortable using with the technology in their equipment.

“Setup and operator instructional training is very critical in the performance of the equipment,” said Greg. “If a customer is not comfortable with the technology of their equipment, they will default back to not using it and not receiving the benefit of it. It’s up to us to make that first day of operation as seamless as possible.”

According to RME AOS Manager Chad Moskal, Greg is an excellent member of the AOS team.

“Greg’s vast and diverse product knowledge makes him a trusted advisor. Greg constantly puts his customers first and has contributed the furthering of RME’s edge in the precision ag space.”

RME is proud to have team members like Greg to be a strong support system for our customers and ensure their equipment is updated with the latest technology and ready to roll. By doing , RME ensures great people like Greg have the tools they need to keep farmers out in the fields without issue.
