RME is back in 2023 as the proud equipment partner of the Calgary Stampede. RME is a strong supporter of agriculture and the values which are entrenched in their communities throughout Western Canada. Partnering with the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth allows us to demonstrate that passion while celebrating the rural lifestyle. We look forward to continuing to place more RED on the Stampede grounds each year! 2022 was the first time in 40 years the Stampede featured Case IH red equipment as it replaced John Deere green during the event.
Each night during the 10-days of the Stampede, an RME Case IH Steiger Quadtrac hauls the massive Grandstand Show stage into place for everyone to enjoy the spectacle, filled with music, spectacular stunts and jaw-dropping pyrotechnics. As the sun sets, the Bell Grandstand Show takes the stage to dazzle audiences with elaborate song, dance and live music performances.
Each year, our hard-working Case IH 4WD Maxxum tractors will also put in more than 100 hours preparing the infield for the daily rodeo and the track for cowboys and their horses to put on the world’s premier chuckwagon event.
In total, RME provides two 620 Quadtracs, six Maxxums, and six Farmalls to the Calgary Stampede each year. One Quadtrac will be pulling the Grandstand, the Maxxums will be grooming the track, while the Farmalls will be grooming the infield along with odd jobs such as pulling out the fireworks, pulling trailers, etc.,
The sponsorship opportunity means brand recognition, international exposure and education. RME and our Case IH equipment will be working side-by-side for the 10-days of the Calgary Stampede, which means visitors will find the Case IH logo alongside RME’s shield. However, RME’s sponsorship extends beyond the celebration in July, demonstrating RME’s lasting commitment to the preservation and support of agriculture and its values.
As part of the agreement, each April during the Calgary Stampede’s annual Aggie Days, RME and Case IH equipment were also present on the grounds. The event provided thousands of school-aged children the opportunity to learn about agriculture and the various equipment that farmers depend on for a successful planting, growing, and harvesting season.
RME is thrilled to have the opportunity to do RIGHT by providing the support, the equipment, the time, and the commitment they need for a successful year.
