At RME, our focus is on the well-being of our employees, customers and the communities which we serve. We are closely monitoring the Coronavirus or COVID-19 situation as it evolves in Canada and around the world and have been taking the lead from the government health experts.

RME has implemented numerous steps to ensure we are taking all precautionary measures focused on maintaining a healthy and safe environment for everyone, namely:

• We are aligned with the Canadian Health recommendations to ensure all returning travelers or those showing any COVID-19 symptoms are self-isolated or quarantined for the recommended 14-day period.
• We have asked all RME employees to limit branch-to-branch travel along with all air travel.
• We have postponed all RME’s Customer Spring Training Clinics.
• Increased cleaning frequency of all high-traffic customer facing and employee areas, including all restrooms, doors, customer lounge, and showroom surfaces including counters and reception desks.
• Hand sanitizer stations are available in all RME showrooms with additional supplies arriving weekly.
• All equipment in for service, along with being optimized by an RME Ag Optimization Specialist, will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after, including cab interior entry/exit points, as well as all monitors. Additional customer requests will be accommodated by our employees if required.
• Customers have the option to pick up their parts outside of the branch if required.
• Third-party contractors are only permitted within an RME branch to perform critical infrastructure services and will be required to maintain the highest of sanitary controls.
• All RME employee on-farm/site visits with our customers will be pre-arranged, there will be no ‘cold calls’ during this time.

RME is providing numerous levels of resources to support our staff and in turn support you, our valued customers through the upcoming spring seeding and construction season.
