RME takes pride in having a diverse team of employees coming from all over the globe, bringing with them their experiences in the agricultural or construction industries.

One RME employee began his career in Warren, New South Wales, Australia where he was hired by small town Case dealer owner John Plunket to work for Three Rivers Machinery in 2008.

CE Equipment Sales Consultant Thomas McCarthy has been a friendly face at RME Balzac since 2011 when he was hired on as a Parts Technician. Thomas worked behind the parts counter until 2017 when Regional Sales Manager James Ulry approached him with an opportunity to switch lanes and become a CASE CE Sales Consultant.

“I had always wanted to get into sales. I have never been agriculture or construction specific; I just love equipment and people,” said Thomas.

CE Sales Manager Bradley Burgess, who has worked with Thomas since December 2018, said Thomas’ reliability and his experience make him an asset to RME’s team.

“He’s been a steadfast employee at RME for well over 10 years and has been with Case for over 15 with his experience in Australia.”

The transition from parts to sales was an easy one for Thomas as he already had a strong relationship with the customers he currently works with.

“I’ve always loved conversing with customers; I’m a natural talker!” he says. “Clients will often comment that they miss me in the parts department.”

It’s employees like Thomas who do   to ensure they have the equipment they need to get the job done right. With his vast equipment experience and people skills, RME is proud to have him as part of the team.
